Privacy Policy

Recrumio ("Recrumio," "we," "us") makes a Chrome extension that helps recruiters score candidates against job posts, find hiring contacts, and draft outreach emails. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form by our authentication provider. We never see your password.

Billing information
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. We store your Stripe customer ID, your plan, and your subscription status so we can apply the right plan to your account.

Usage information
We count how many contact lookups you use each month so we can apply your plan's limit.

Information you enter in the extension
Candidate profiles (such as names, current titles, experience, target roles, locations, desired pay, achievements, and resume text), your CRM records, and your settings are saved in your Chrome browser's local storage on your device. They are not stored on our servers.

Page content you choose to share
When you click Recrumio on a web page, the extension reads that page only, and only at that moment. On a job post, this includes the job title, company, location, description, and any hiring team members shown on the page. On a LinkedIn profile, this includes the person's name, headline, and current company. The extension does not run in the background, visit other pages, or collect your browsing history.

2. How we use information

We use information only to provide Recrumio:

• Scoring and drafting: When you score candidates or draft a pitch, the job details and the candidate details you selected are sent to our server and to Google's Gemini AI to produce the results. We do not keep a copy of these requests after the results are returned.

• Contact lookups: When you look up a hiring contact, the company name, job title, location, and any names from the page are sent to our server and to Google's Gemini AI with Google Search to find publicly available business contact information.

• Account and billing: To sign you in, apply your plan, and process payments.

• Support: To respond when you contact us.

• Resume uploads: When you upload a resume to add a candidate, the file is sent to our server and to Google's Gemini AI to read the details (such as name, current title, experience, and key achievement) and fill in the candidate form. We do not keep a copy of the file. The extracted text is saved only in your Chrome browser with the rest of your candidate information.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not use candidate information to train AI models.

3. Shared contact cache

To make lookups faster and cheaper, we save the results of contact lookups in our database and may show them to other Recrumio users who look up the same company and role. This cache contains business contact information for hiring contacts, such as name, job title, work email address, and the company's email format. It does not contain any of your candidates' information or your account details.

• Contact lookup results are kept for up to 30 days.

• Company email formats are kept for up to 180 days.

If you are a hiring contact and want your information removed from our cache, email support@beginnly.com and we will remove it.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Recrumio:

These providers process information on our behalf and under their own privacy and security terms.

5. Gmail

Recrumio opens a pre-filled Gmail draft using a standard Gmail link. We do not connect to your Gmail account, read your inbox, or send email on your behalf. You review and send every email yourself.

6. Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

Recrumio's use of information received through the Chrome extension follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this information only to provide and improve Recrumio's core features, and we do not transfer it to others except as described in this policy or as required by law.

7. How long we keep information

• Account and billing records: For as long as your account is open, and as needed afterward to meet legal or tax requirements.

• Monthly usage counts: For as long as your account is open.

• Contact cache: As described in Section 3.

• Data in your browser: Stays on your device until you delete it or remove the extension.

8. Your choices and rights

• Access or delete your account: Email support@beginnly.com and we will delete your account and associated records.

• Delete local data: Remove candidates or CRM rows in the extension, or uninstall the extension to clear everything stored in your browser.

• Cancel your plan: Anytime from Settings in the extension.

California residents: You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law.

Residents of other regions: Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as correcting or exporting your information. Contact us to make a request.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all communication between the extension and our server, and we limit database access to our server only. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children

Recrumio is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and let you know in the extension or by email.
